Nicole Yingling is a dedicated and compassionate leader in the field of substance use treatment, bringing over a decade of experience to her role as Executive Director at Soroptimist House of Hope. Her passion for recovery stems from personal experiences, as addiction deeply impacted her immediate family, including herself. Nicole’s transformative journey through recovery ignited her commitment to helping others break free from the cycle of addiction and rebuild their lives.

Nicole’s career began in 2009, and since then, she has amassed a diverse and impactful professional background. At Michaels House, she served as a residential counselor, Wilderness First Responder, and Physical Fitness Trainer, empowering clients to heal both mentally and physically. She later contributed to the Desert AIDS Project, where she played a pivotal role in designing a groundbreaking program tailored to support gay men struggling with methamphetamine addiction. Her dedication extended to the Juvenile Justice Department, where she helped develop innovative treatment programs for incarcerated youth, demonstrating her ability to create meaningful change across various populations.

While Nicole has worked with diverse groups throughout her career, her heart remains with helping women restore their lives and achieve lasting recovery. She earned her Associate Degree in Behavioral Health Science and Drug and Alcohol Studies from Mt. San Jacinto College in 2014 and became a certified drug and alcohol counselor in 2015. Committed to continuous growth, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from UMass Global in 2023. During her studies, she completed an internship with Riverside County DPSS Child Protective Services, initially aiming for a career with CPS. However, her experience reaffirmed her passion for addiction recovery, inspiring her to pursue her current leadership role.

As Executive Director, Nicole combines her extensive experience, personal insights, and academic achievements to drive Soroptimist House of Hope’s mission forward. Her leadership is marked by empathy, vision, and a steadfast commitment to empowering women on their recovery journeys.

Outside of work, Nicole finds joy in traveling with her husband and three adult children, hiking scenic trails, staying active through exercise, and relaxing by the lake. Her vibrant personal life complements her professional dedication, reflecting her belief in balance, resilience, and the transformative power of hope.
