Saturday, April 5, 2014, On Saturday, April 5, 2014, Soroptimist House of Hope held its first annual “A Day of Hope” fundraising luncheon at the Skyborne Clubhouse in Desert Hot Springs. The event featured CBS Local 2 News Morning Anchor, Jenifer Daniels as the emcee for the event. Through ticket sales, a silent auction, and raffle at the event, House of Hope raised $4,000 to support their substance use disorder recovery programs for women of the Coachella Valley and San Gorgonio Pass.
