January 12, 2015, On January 10th, 2015 Soroptimist House of Hope held a special Ribbon Cutting and Dedication Ceremony for a newly constructed Multipurpose Room at our Desert Hot Springs recovery residence. The new room was funded by the Frank N. & Gertrude R. Doyle Foundation and was dedicated in memory of Joyce L. Scott, dearest friend and former Executive Director of Soroptimist House of Hope who served over 24 years. The event was enjoyed by all who came to celebrate and support this special event. Soroptimist House of Hope Board of Directors and staff were joined by the Desert Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, House of Hope Alumni, family members of the remembered Joyce L.
